Preparation instructions [from frozen]
Can be enjoyed both hot or cold
pan cook [recommended]
- Pre-heat a large wok or pan on a medium heat
- Add the edamame beans with 1 tsp of water into the pan
- If preparing half a bag, cook for 5-7 mins
- If preparing a full bag, cook for 7-9 mins
- Cover with a lid, stirring throughout
microwave
- Place the edamame beans in a microwaveable bowl & cover with a microwaveable plate
- For half a bag, microwave for 1 min [750W / 900W], stir the beans, recover with the plate & microwave for a further 1 min & 30 seconds [750W] or 1 min & 15 seconds [900W]
- For a full bag, microwave for 2 mins [750W / 900W], stir the beans, recover with the plate & microwave for a further 2 mins & 30 seconds [750W] or 1 min & 30 seconds [900W]
defrost
- Take the edamame beans out of the freezer & defrost for approximately 4 hours or until the beans are no longer frozen

Place the whole pod in your mouth, extract the beans & discard the shell.
The soy & ginger glaze clinging to the outside, perfectly seasons the nutty & umami taste of the beans within.
Enjoy them on their own, as a starter, or a snack with an ice-cold beer.
