vegetable steamed'dumplings with a Korean-style sauce

you will need

  • 1 tbsp itsu gochujang sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 spring onion, finely sliced
  • large pinch of sesame seeds

let's get cooking

  1. step 1

    microwave [from frozen]:

    place sealed bag of steamed'dumplings in the microwave [please do not open or pierce bag!]

  2. step 2

    microwave for 2 mins 20 seconds [900W] or 2 mins 30 seconds [750W]

  3. step 3

    remove tray from bag and pierce the top of the dumplings with a fork or chopstick, leave to stand for 5 mins

  4. step 4

    whilst leaving the steamed'dumplings to cool, mix together gochujang sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil & water to form a sauce

  5. step 5

    dress the steamed'dumplings with the sauce and top with spring onion and a pinch of sesame seeds

  6. step 6

    enjoy!
