veg gyoza with a chilli oil sauce

you will need

  • 10 itsu vegetable fusion gyoza
  • 1 spring onion, minced
  • 1 garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp gochugaru [korean chilli powder] - or substitute with chilli flakes / powder
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1.5 tbsp hot neutral oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar

let's get cooking

  1. step 1

    grab your itsu gyoza out from the freezer and heat a saucepan with water over medium heat

  2. step 2

    place a steamer lined with parchment paper over the saucepan, add the gyoza and cover. Cook according to pack instructions

  3. step 3

    while the gyozas are steaming, in a bowl or plate, add the spring onions, garlic, gochugaru, sesame seeds followed by hot oil and give it a good mix

  4. step 4

    add in the rest of the ingredients and mix before adding the cooked gyoza

  5. step 5

    mix & enjoy!
