deep sand which makes training challenging. Also offers the best training partners in the world.

top nutritional tip
I eat oats/porridge in the morning to keep energy levels steady and hunger at bay until lunch. I try to eat little to no carbohydrates in the evening; raw fish is a good meal for a protein hit to recover from training and stay fresh for the next day.

top training tip
always train at 100% and come off the court with no regrets.

funniest/strangest experience on court
I'm 6ft 10 and one of my strangest experiences was playing against someone bigger than me for a change at 7ft 2.

VEBT Margate Masters 2012: I suffered a chronic migraine whilst my partner suffered with a fast arrhythmia heart problem at the same time. We stuck through it and won the match, but it was painful.
